What if I have a completed outline?

We will review your outline to ensure it is laying a solid foundation for your book project, as it will serve as good starting point.
Why is there a 3 month commitment?

Writing a book takes time and commitment. The three month commitment gives us time to work together and see real results in completing your first draft. Considering the creative blocks and the frustrations that come from writing, when meeting consistently on a regular basis, we can accomplish more in 3 months than we can in a single session.

The success of any coaching relationship is the time needed to develop a good working relationship.
Does the financial investment include any editing?

Book coaching includes developmental editing, where I provide feedback on the tone, ideas and structure in your manuscript.

Copy editing, which is performed after the first draft, is not included in the book coaching program. However, the cleaner your manuscript is before reaching the copyeditor, the less time and money it will cost.
Why can't my manuscript be fixed during the copyediting stage, when there are writing issues?

Minimal issues such as redundant words or uncertain tone can be addressed by the bigger issues such as the structure of the manuscript and the overall tone will not be addressed in coaching. I will only make you aware that there is an issue but this is not the focus of what takes place in copyediting.
